its so close to the actual game

I've played the original game and man!
it's so close to the game!
like the bosses and the enemy planes and items(excpt for the star)
but the bosses were too easy to defeat.
anyway, I've never been to the end of the original game.
I couldn't go any further than that airplane boss on level five.
(I think)
is that how the game actually ends?

Kindof... except obviously, the animated sequences were just the normal birds-eye view of the jet going from/into space. Thanks for the review!
