O_O

This is rather creepy and spooky looking.
But I like it.

I also like how my thought process first interpreted as this as an eviler Ghastly and then I was reminded of that Exploding Chain Monster from the three part Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends premier.

Anyways great job. :)

iCleon responds:

Funny Fact: When I finished it, my friends instantly thought "Hey, we should go watch Foster's Home."

I'd buy this T-Shirt.

When I first saw this it reminded me of Captain K'Nuckles from "The Misadventures of Flapjack" but anyways...

I don't really have much to say about this because I personally think it looks good as it is. Though I might suggest to make the face a bit smaller and centered but that's just probably me. Also I say.. go for "Feelin' Green".

tehslaphappy responds:

Yeah, that's what I was going for. I'm a fan of Flapjack. Thanks for the review.

Once again.

Your powers of observation to each and every single detail in a picture serves you well. This seems like it would make a nice climax scene in like a dramatic, romantic movie with some cityscape in the background with the rain falling.

I am still envious of your skills in Charcoal and Pastel. If only I could use charcoal and or pastel like that... that'd make my art related life a bit better knowing that I can use that medium to create something beautiful.

BlackUniGryphon responds:

Thanx.

I think it might've been from some movie... I got the photo clipping from a Chinese news paper. I think it was some desert movie. I don't even know, i never saw it... and reading Chinese is so hard.

This was a hard one to draw because it's on small paper. charcoals & pastels don't have fine points either. :-/

I still think I need more practice.

Thanks for the feedback! *hugs*

This is some beautifully surreal stuff.

I love your versatile way of using ink. (I think that's the proper adjective...)
I also tried something like this but ended up throwing it away because it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to turn out. It takes lots of skills, precision as well as creativity to use ink like this because ink is a very unforgiving medium to work with. You get something wrong and it's going to be there even if you try to hide it away with white out.

Beautiful work. :)

Man you've got talent.

I've seen pretty much all of the pictures of your super-detailed, nearly photo realistic sculptures as well as some of your art work. And I just want to say that you're one of the finest multi-talented artist that the interent and I have probably ever seen.

Those 6 monthes and over 900 photoshop layers really paid off. This does seem like something from a sci-fi novel. To me it seems like a really detailed concept art for some awesome sci-fi movie. This is some astound stuff, man. Keep up the good work. :)

Such impeccable attention to detrail!

Not only is this sculpture funny, the method in which you created this with (I watched your Piranha Plant Sculpture tutorial video and it was mind-blowingly awesome) must have taken you hours to do. I didn't know one could create something this detailed and realistic with Sculpey!

Mad props man. You are one helluva sculptor and I can see your skills taking you to stop-motion animation set creator or someone that creates lots of little decorations you can put around the garden or something.

Slightly creepy.

But I like it.
This can totally be used in a horror themed animation or something.
If I could animate with flash and if I was to create a halloween themed animation, I'd totally get you to do the backgrounds for me because its creepy but somewhat beautiful and sorrowful. It evokes a mixture of emotions which is probably one of the reasons why I like this piece. Great work and for thirty minutes, this is damn impressive.

CptBeefcake responds:

thanks. I'm always too jittery to make a fully detailed work. These rush pieces are some of my strongest works (although this isn't one of them). Usually my drawings just stagnate if I work on them too long and eventually lose inspiration

Rather cute.

That's pretty much it.
What else can I say about a ridiculously happy road sign except for that fact that its cute? I can picture this as becoming a rather successful T-Shirt design.

and you have shown that elegance well.

This may be a portrait of the god of death but the way you portrayed him (it?) is probably the way the Egyptians pictured their God o Death. Because to them death was just the beginning to an entirely different life in the afterlife. Just a phase in another one's eternal life.

Loving that radiance you put to this. I love the warmth of the glow that's radiating off of Anubis. Now I wish to see more of your work. :)

Photo-realistic.

The amount of detail you put into the piece is astounding.
Its clear that you paid attention to each of the follicles of fur on your dog as well as how the light reflects off of the dog's coat.

Its even more impressive that this was done entirely with pastels. Astounding job.
